Soul Eater
Class Description
Soul Eaters have the uncanny ability to control people because they were born from death. Soul Eaters are resurrected Night Elves that have the most superior Health Points (HP) out of all the classes and they can even use magic to drain their enemies’ HP to recover their own.
Class Background
Soul Eaters are a relatively new warrior class, they made their first appearance in the battlegrounds of the New World many hundreds of years after the wars with the gods.
The kingdoms of the world came to learn of a powerful giant named Lord Cronus. He had come to the New World from a world called Jötunheimr. Jötunheimr was a whole world where giants lived and waged war with each other.
Lord Cronus came to our world when foolish magicians were dabbling with portal magic and they accidentally opened a portal to Jötunheimr. Lord Cronus and some of his brothers entered through the portal into the New World to look for somewhere to live peacefully.
Cronus decided to build a city for himself and his brothers that soon became the biggest city in the New World, called the City of Cronus. Many humans and elves flocked to the city as it was incredibly beautiful, so Cronus started an army to protect the city’s beauty and wealth.
The Kings of the world became jealous of Cronus and his army, so they attacked the city without any declaration or warning. All of Cronus’ soldiers were killed that night and the city was destroyed.
The soldiers of Cronus’ army were then strangely resurrected in the Land of Rebirth a few years later. Not much is known about the land of rebirth, except that it was a graveyard for Cronus’ soldiers.
The resurrected soldiers didn’t have any memory of their past lives, except that they appeared to have been elves. So the people of the Holy Valley decided that they would make perfect laborers and they used the night elves as slaves to work in the fields.
One day, monsters attacked the Holy Valley and the soul eaters used their repressed memories of fighting in battles to successfully defend the people from the attacks of the monsters by using their blood thirst to drain the monsters' life force.
The new warriors were then given the name "Soul Eater" and they were tasked by the king to practice their fighting techniques with other soul eaters in the Land of Rebirth, because they would be powerful warriors in the war between the three Kingdoms.
The soul eaters developed many powerful techniques when they practiced their abilities with each other. The soul eaters already knew how to use a basic attack that they had named "Hack" when fighting the monsters in the Holy Valley.
The next ability that they developed when they practiced with each other would help them inflict much more damage than just simply hacking an enemy. The attack had three times the strength that just hacking had and it was so powerful that they decided to name the skill "Chaos".
One day, one of the soul eaters realized that he could hack more enemies than the other soul eaters could by simply increasing the speed and number of times at which he hacked enemies. This rapid attack was later named "Reaping" by his comrades.
These new attacks were strong, but the soul eaters needed more attacks that could attack multiple enemies, so they decided to try harnessing their blood thirst and screaming it out so that it could kill multiple enemies at once.
Being able to harness the power of death to drain an enemy’s life force is one thing, but using it to resurrect yourself and hypnotize others was an amazing new use of their powers. Resurrect helped the soul eaters regain health and hypnosis was used to paralyze enemies for a few seconds so that they can be attacked further by the soul eaters and other warriors.
The ultimate abilities that the soul eaters were able to develop by harnessing the power of death must’ve been the ability to summon ghosts and incarnate to places nearby.
Summoning ghosts gave them extra protection and assistance in battle, and incarnating allowed them to slip in and away from a battle unscathed.
The soul eaters were then officially accepted as warriors by the Kings of the Kingdoms to help the kings fight against Lord Cronus and the other Kingdoms.
